“No Exit Wounds" is not only a sobering foray into surviving the traumas of war and child abuse. Its thoughtful organization establishes a compelling narrative that conveys the importance of introspection, forgiveness, and acceptance in the role of recovery. This piece lays bare the intrinsic struggle of mankind. To endure the crucible of humanity and choose to "climb, or await what lies below". Daigle chooses to "rise from the Phoenix's ashes."
